Bhopal: DPC for promotion to IAS, IPS, IFS to meet in Delhi today
BHOPAL: The promotion committee for elevation of officers of state administrative service, state police service and state forest service to IAS, IPS and IFS respectively will meet at the UPSC office in New Delhi on Wednesday. A total of 54 posts of the state cadre in the three services are to be filled through promotion. They include 29 posts in IAS, 10 in IPS and 15 in IFS.
Chief secretary BP Singh, DGP Rishi Shukla, PCCF Animesh Shukla and the ACSs of home and forest departments and secretary of GAD will be participating in the meeting. The joint secretaries of Union home, forest and environment and DoPT will also be taking part in the meeting.
The names of Umesh Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Shailbala Martin, Jagdish Chandra Jatia, Vedprakash and Rakesh Shrivastava of the 1992 batch, Vandana Vaidya, Anubha Shrivastava, Rakesh Singh, Prabal Sipaha, Shashibhushan Singh, Satendra Singh, Manish Singh and Amarpal Singh of 1993 batch and Chhote Singh, Akshay Singh, Dinesh Shrivastava, Sapna Nigam, Deepak Saxena, Vivek Singh, Anil Khare, RS Jadaun, Vasant Kurre, Sandeep Makin and Suresh Kumar of 1994 batch will be considered. The envelopes of officers of 1990 and 1991 batches, against whom departmental enquiry is pending, will be kept closed.
