Two Hizbul terrorists killed in Tral, J&K

Two self-styled hardcore commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen have been killed in an encounter in Tral of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.





The gun battle broke out on Friday between terrorists and security forces in the Tral area of Pulwama district. The entire area was cordoned off and the search operation was carried out.

Army also foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Rampur sector of Kashmir in which six terrorists were neutralized. Troops noticed suspicious movement along the LoC in Rampur sector in the early hours today.

The gunbattle broke out between the infiltrators and the Army, resulting in elimination of four terrorists. Later two more terrorists were gunned down by the security forces.

Earlier, an Army patrol was attacked by a Pakistan Border Action Team in Uri sector on Friday. The Army shot dead two BAT personnel in response. A search operation is underway in the area.
