WHO confirms first 3 cases of Zika virus in India



World Health Organization (WHO) has ​confirmed the first three cases of Zika virus in India, as having been reported from Ahmedabad.


This includes a pregnant lady tested in January. All the three cases are from the Bapunagar area of the Ahmedabad city.

Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry also reported three confirmed cases of Zika virus disease in Bapunagar area on it's website.
