Four OSDs to Madhya Pradesh CM quit ahead of Lok Sabha polls



BHOPAL: Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, the Kamal Nath government would relieve four officers on special duty (OSD) appointed as advisors to chief minister from their duties at secretariat. They include RK Miglani, Sanjay Shrivastava, Bhupendra Gupta and Praveen Kakkar.

Miglani would tender his resignation on Saturday, he confirmed to TOI on Friday. Similarly, Gupta and Praveen Kakkar would put in their papers on March 1, just before the model code of conduct is expected to come into effect.


Their resignations come within two months after the appointments. Miglani was appointed as advisor to chief minister Kamal Nath, while state Congress media committee vice-president Bhupendra Gupta, Sanjay Shrivastava and Praveen Kakkar were working as officers on special duty (OSD). Their appointments were made on contractual basis.
